Balakrishnan Valanath
Balakrishnan Valanath is an India-based writer from Kerala, the "God's Own Country". After graduating in Economics and Law, he spent many years in industry, in a variety of capacities, utilizing his talents in marketing, successful contract negotiations, Company management and administration. Fellow of the Indian Institute of Cost & Works Accountants, Fellow of the Indian Council of Arbitration, Member-All India & Kerala Management Associations, he is an active member of many NGO's including Rotary. He worked as Consultant for a Chemical industrial unit in Gujerat for about 2 years, as visiting Lecturer on Management subjects in a degree College for Commerce in Kerala for about 3 years and until recently was Chairman of a mid-sized Finance Company. A voracious reader, he has travelled in many countries from Port of Spain in West Indies to Fiji in the East. He is now spending his time writing for the web.
